Fadey Habitation of Peace Foundation, through its flagship initiative — The Food Basket Project (F.B.P.) — is dedicated to supporting vulnerable children and families with food, healthcare, clothing, and education. What started in 2017 has grown into a weekly outreach, with the vision of becoming a daily program transforming communities.
The Food Basket Project was divinely inspired and initiated in January 2017 by Pastor Adeleke Adelani Coker, a missionary evangelist, through the leading of the Holy Spirit. The inspiration came from the words of Jesus Christ in Matthew 14:14, 16 & 20
“Jesus had compassion on them… and said to them, ‘Give them something to eat’… and they all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.”
The Food Basket Project is a humanitarian and faith-based initiative dedicated to providing support for the needy, vulnerable, and less privileged, particularly in rural communities.
Beyond meeting immediate needs, the ultimate goal of the Food Basket Project is to establish a permanent home and school where these individuals especially children can be cared for, trained, and nurtured. This will ensure they not only receive daily sustenance but also have access to education, spiritual guidance, and a brighter future.
